Got Water?
How important is water to our bodies? This substance is
so vital to our body’s everyday functions that without it we
would die in just a matter of days. The critical input of
water in our bodies is essential to our health. An
established medical fact is that 95% of our body’s weight is
water. It is interesting to reflect on a few of the many
functions water performs in the body.
· Filtering out impurities and poisons (kidneys and the
Urinary system)
· Feeding the body (in the form of blood.).
· An integral part of our digestive system, without water we
could not digest our food.
· Water works as an important lubricant for vital organs
such as the eyes and ears · It is the basis of the fluid in
our joints that keep us moving with ease.
All these vital functions require body fluids (water) to
work. In order to keep our bodies functioning the right way
the average person can take at least 1 gallon of water per
day. This may sound like a lot but in reality is not as much
as you think. It is not just pure water as fluids come in
many forms. Many foods such as fruits and vegetables can
contain quite a large amount of liquids.
Given the amount of water needed by the body on a daily
basis, it is critical that we are aware of the quality of
the water we consume. There are many hidden pollutants in
our drinking water. The main ones being:
1. Biological entities
2. Heavy Metals
3. Organic Chemicals
4. Inorganic Chemicals
5. Radioactive Material
How can we improve our water? How do we filter out harmful
chemicals and bacteria?
There are 2 common ways
Purifying. Using filters on our taps and faucets
Distilling. Devices that will produce distilled water
Water filtration / treatment. VS distillation treatment
Only distillation is capable of removing all FIVE major
categories of water pollution.
Steam distilled water is produced by a completely natural
process: simple heating and cooling, exactly like earth's
natural rain process, resulting in a product with completely
pure, natural qualities. Distillation produces virtually
totally pure water. This is because natural processes are at
work in the distillation system - steam and gravity. The
boiling process of distillation always produces steam while
gravity separates dissolved solids from the steam.
A WATER DISTILLER will produce water with this hexagonal
characteristic---identical to naturally occurring water from
pure rain or fresh snow (remember all snowflakes have six
sides/points).
Filters/ Home-use reverse osmosis filtration systems do NOT
remove microbiological contaminants. An example of studies
which conclusively proved that reverse osmosis systems acted
as intensive breeding grounds for bacteria appeared in
Applied and Environmental Microbiology, April 1991.
p945-948.
In this milestone study, entitled "Gastrointestinal Health
Effects Associated with the Consumption of Drinking Water
Produced by Point-of-Use Domestic Reverse-Osmosis Filtration
Units", individuals who drank water treated with reverse
osmosis systems were experiencing gastrointestinal problems
equivalent to those experienced in the Third World.
In addition to the bacterial problem, Reverse Osmosis is
also known to form pentagon shaped molecules. Some people
refer to pentagon shaped molecules as "disease water". It is
possible that in the rush to produce water treatment systems
which produce water which is relatively free of inorganic
compounds, heavy metals and organic contaminants, the
equipment engineers have overlooked perhaps the most
important aspect of water itself---it's intrinsic, natural
structure and it's healthful aspects for the body.
Some scientists state that the reverse osmosis also creates
potassium chlorates which are also toxic. It is also
important to remember that reverse osmosis systems were
initially developed to produce "clean" water for industrial
purposes 50 years ago. No thought was given at that time to
the factors discussed above.
Our bodies are finely tuned machines and water is the fuel
that drives them. Let us all take care of the quality of
water we drink on a daily basis. When we do this we will
ensure a healthier better lifestyle that we will all
enjoy.Article written by Richard Deddy
