The Changing Face of Civilization
Over the last 100 years our civilization has seen many
advances in Industrial Technology. As progress has marched
on at an increasingly accelerated pace our lives have
changed dramatically. However with these advances have come
increasing problems with environment. Although steps are
being made to rectify problems, many argue that it is not
enough. The increase in pollution effects us all; the air we
breathe, the food we eat and especially the most vital
element of life our water.
With all the environmental, disasters coming at us on a
daily basis, via the news medias, we are becoming
increasingly health conscious. In the quest for better
health more and more people are looking for ways to improve
the quality of their life, by improving their diets. New
diet books and literature of all sorts are being published
daily. Fitness is becoming an increasingly popular area of
our lives. As part of our emphasis on health, we have become
especially conscious about the water we are drinking.
Water is the primary element of existence. Without it there
would be no life, on earth. If we want to live better,
healthier lives we need to be careful of the quality of
water that we drink. There have been many attempts to try to
purify our water. Bottled water, filters on our taps, and
many devices of varying sorts and sizes. Some are effective
and others just ploys to make a quick buck.
Not so long ago I came across a water purifier which stood

the average food processor and can easily fit into any
decor. It is lightweight and can be easily taken with you
