This is an inside view of the boiling chamber. Others have a steel bottom and plastic sides. Ours has a stainless steel bottom and stainless steel sides one piece construction. This eliminates the problem of the boiling chamber cracking.
The distillation coil is made out of stainless steel. Not all are.
The steam never touches rubber or plastic Many inside dome that is made of rubber/plastic on the inside. The steam and boiling water will come in contact with this rubber/plastic inside. Some people were concerned about this so now we offer both models. Our new improved models all have a dome with stainless steel on the inside and the improved sealing gasket. Everything else is exactly the same as our $89 model.
This was the FIRST batch of water produced. It registered a STRONG 0 on the TDS meter. This is remarkable for a unit this size.
